Whether you are installing fonts on a Mac or PC you should first.
- Close all open applications.
- Unzip the downloaded file containing the fonts.
- On your desktop you should have a folder for each font weight or font family you wish to install.
Install Fonts on a Mac
Add files to the Fonts Folder
- Drag the font files from your desktop to your account Fonts folder.
- The account fonts folder is at Username > Library > Fonts.
- These font will then be available to your account only.
- Alternatively you can add the fonts to the Macintosh HD Fonts folder.
- The HD Font folder is at Macintosh HD > Library > Fonts.
- The font will then be available to all users.
Add Fonts with Font Book
- Font Book is free with Mac OSX.
- Simple double click the font files on your desktop.
- Font Book open and add the fonts to your fonts folder.

Install Fonts on a PC
Installing fonts in Windows Vista
- Click Start > Control Panel > Appearance and Personalization > Fonts.
- Right click in the list of fonts and choose "Install new Font" from the menu.
- Locate the fonts you wish to install.
- To select several fonts hold down the CTRL key while you click on the font files - or click on single files - hold down the CTRL key and click on the font again to deselect if you choose the wrong file.
- Click on OK to install the fonts.
Installing fonts in Windows XP and older
- Unzip the file containing the fonts you wish to install.
- For versions before Window XP select Start > Settings > Control Panel.
- In Windows XP, select Start > Control Panel.
- Double-click on the Fonts folder. If you don ºt see a Fonts folder in Windows XP, please switch the control panel to Classic View by click on the button on the left side of the control panel window.
- Click File > Install New Font.
- Locate the fonts you want to install.
- To select several fonts hold down the CTRL key while you click on the font files - or click on single files - hold down the CTRL key and click on the font again to deselect if you choose the wrong file.
- To copy the fonts to the Fonts folder, ensure that the check box stating "copy fonts to the fonts folder" is selected
- Click OK to install the fonts.
